I grew up in a rough side of my hometown, coming from a humble immigrant family. My parents both worked in farm labor and landscaping and always instilled the values of service, honor, and education in me.

I grew an interest in media and production in my youth. Without much for kids to do in the neighborhood besides join a gang, I found myself reading, writing and drawing. I was often sick as a kid, and would take the opportunity to catch up on sci-fi and monster movie reruns on tv. This is where it all began.
